Bret Michaels Condition

Bret Michaels is one of my favorite rockers from the 80s. I loved Poison, and I have also watched him on Rock of Love and Celebrity Apprentice. As a writer, I admit that I want to make money, but I also enjoy writing about things that I love and that I am passionate about. Often these are things that have had an impact on my life in some way or another. If you knew me as a teenager, then you could attest to the fact that Bret Michaels was a big part of my life. As many teens do, I got a bit obsessive over several famous guys! This obsession led to my bedroom walls being wallpapered with posters of my top two faves, Bret Michaels and Kirk Cameron. So for those that want to stay updated about his condition, you can check out this link Bret Michaels Medical Updates. It will be updated as more information comes out on Bret Michaels condition.

Lady Gaga Beats Oprah in The 2010 Time 100

Lady Gaga has had a big influence on the music industry in recent years. She has a style that sets her apart from all the other musicians out there right now. From her outlandishly creative costumes, to her catchy tunes that you hear all over the radio, she has created her own unique style. This is part of what makes her so unforgettable. Once you see her perform in a video, on television, or in concert, it is a unique experience that you will remember.

Time magazine has just released there top 100 Most Influential People. This list is broken down into categories that include Leaders, Heroes, Artists, and Thinkers. Included in this list are names like President Barack Obama, Sarah Palin, Bill Clinton, Ben Stiller, Phil Mickelson, Conan O'Brien, Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Warren, and Steve Jobs.

So where does Lady Gaga fall within this list? She is listed as the Most Influential Artist in the world today. Beating out Oprah Winfrey, Conan O'Brien, and Ashton Kutcher. This is a huge thing for a musician that is only 24 years old and who has only been in the limelight for a few years.

Fellow musician, Cyndi Lauper says, "An artist's job is to take a snapshot — be it through words or sound, lyrics or song — that explains what it's like to be alive at that time. Lady Gaga's art captures the period we're in right now." You can't turn on the radio, watch music videos, or go to a dance club without hearing something by Lady Gaga, and chances are that you will hear several of her songs.

Lady Gaga has already amassed many awards and achievements in her career as a musician, and I'm betting that this trend will continue for quite a while. She has also had her share of controversy and has with stood it. She is considered to be an icon in the gay community, and attributes most of her early success to her gay fans.

Lady Gaga has released two albums, "Fame" and "Fame Monster", which include her hit singles, "Poker Face", "Just Dance", "Paparazzi", and "Telephone" which also features Beyonce. All of which have been hits on the Billboard charts. Her popularity continues to grow among fans of all ages. It looks like she will be around for a while, so whether you love her or hate her, you better get used to seeing her.

Glee Mania has Taken the World by Storm

Glee is now in it's second season on Fox, and the fans are still following the show diligently. Glee fans call themselves "Gleeks", a combination of the words geek and glee. This comedy series about the Glee club has built up quite a following for a new series.

There have been three Glee albums released and they have each made there way to the top of the charts. The album, "Glee Season One: The Music Volume 1" made it to number four on the Billboard 200 in November, Volume 2 hit number three the next month, and the latest album released, Glee: The Power of Madonna debuted in the number one spot this week. The Madonna album has already sold over 98,000 copies, with seventy-five percent of those being purchased through internet retailers.

Most of us can remember what it was like to be in high school. Trying to find a position in the high school social scene that was filled with different cliques. These groups had stipulations of who could enter, and many of us never attained entry into the most popular groups. Not because we weren't worthy, but because our parents didn't have the right job, or we didn't have the right kind of clothes. This makes Glee a show that people can relate to easily. The show is also very funny. It has great music, and an amazing cast.

The second season of Glee began on April 13, 2010 with an estimated 13.7 million viewers. Many of these viewers are self-proclaimed "gleeks" that follow the show religiously. The fact that Glee follows the Fox hit reality show, American Idol, has probably helped the show pick up some extra viewers here and there as well. But the cult like following of the fans will help keep this show around for quite a while.

Glee has been accepting fan audition videos on their Myspace page. This was such a popular concept that they have reopened auditions for a  one day encore. The auditions reopened on April 28th and will close at 1:59am PT on April 29th. If you want to submit your audition video, there is still time if you hurry!

If you haven't watched the show yet, now is a great time to check it out. The first season was a short one, and season two has just begun so you aren't too far behind on what has gone on during the show. The show airs on Fox every Tuesday night at 9, after American Idol.
